<p>I&#8217;m sure most collectors can&#8217;t wait to recycle the &#8220;too busy to sign&#8221; form letters, or the price list from the team wanting donations for any autograph.</p>
<p>Think twice. </p>
<p>While those documents will never measure up to revealing hand-written correspondence from a player, anything with the team logo will look official. Collectors are seeking out official team stationery (including envelopes) and letterhead.</p>
<p>Just try finding such items from clubs like the Montreal Expos or Washington Senators. </p>
<p>Besides, it would serve the next generation of historians and collectors well to see how teams and players addressed autographs way back in 2016.</p>
