I used to send letters off to pro athletes as a kid. The most confusing one I got back was from Ramon Martinez. I sent a card to him in a simple plastic sleeve. He returned the card to me and there was a line down the middle of the plastic sleeve that looked like it could have been the start of an “R” from what looked to be a ball-point pen… that was it. The card wasn’t autographed, but it looked like he attempted to sign on the plastic sleeve. haha. Very strange.
The best response I received was an 8×10 photo from Michael Jordan! Definitely a surprise to receive.
