It sounds like you have had some amazing responses and encounters; what an awesome thrill to find these treasures along the way~

Living in Minnesota Kirby Puckett was my all time Twins Hero, and can still picture hearing the announcer shouting out Kirrrrbbbyyy Puckettt!

I used to work at the Minnneapolis/St Paul for airport security. Often times while working at an airport one can encounter all sorts of personalities on one occassion I was surprised to meet a relative of Pucketts, by noticing an ID with the last name of Puckett on it.

I asked this elderly lady jokingly~ You wouldn't happen to be be Kirby's relative would you? To my surprise she said I'm his Aunt! I knew he had passed away, so I was curious whether or not he was buried in Minneapolis or Chicago where he was from, but from this short encounter I found out that he had been buried in Arizona. Someday I would like to pay my respect to my favorite baseball player Kirby Puckett.

Thank You for sharing your Autograph stories;
I hope one day to find one of these rare autographed Puckett Visalia Oaks trading cards someday~ I guess that is just part of the adventure~

hey dan, let me know if you have trouble with some. i was bat boy for this 1983 team and have most of these cards signed. i only have 23 cards and might consider parting with 1 or 2 to help you fill in the holes (since i dont have the whole set). . .allthough you wouldnt get accompanying update letters from the players . . .that seems like a better deal.
